The Jordan 8 Retro “Aqua” (2025) brings back one of MJ’s most iconic colour ways from the original 1993 release, famously worn during the 1993 NBA All‑Star Game.
True OG homage: Black nubuck and iron-grey overlays recreate the authentic 1993 materials. The midsole forgoes the glitter from past retros, opting for clean brushstroke accents in iconic Aqua-tone teal and Bright Concord purple.
Signature design features: Retains the tri-colour chenille tongue patch (red, aqua, purple), criss-cross mid-foot straps, inner neoprene sleeve, and a sculpted foam midsole with visible Nike Air units in the heel and forefoot.
Legacy continuity: The 2025 edition is the most faithful OG tribute yet, shedding the 2007 full-black revision and midsole glitter from 2015, restoring the original 1993 aesthetic.
